Rosie Morgan-Males

A young woman with long hair in a braid, wearing a black shirt, sitting on the floor, smiling, with some electronic equipment and books around her in a dark room.

Rosie Morgan-Males is an emerging theatre and film director. She is the co-founder of Labyrinth Productions.

Rosie is fascinated by how our inner lives shape the world we inhabit and is drawn to stories that explore interpersonal relationships to examine larger social questions. She has a particular interest in developing new writing and adaptation as well as working with contemporary approaches to classical texts. She has also worked as an assistant director across both classical and contemporary productions and is passionate about supporting writers in developing new work.

With a background in choral and orchestral music and dance, Rosie’s directing style is often movement-driven, and she has worked with several devised productions. She is interested in the relationship between language, rhythm, and physicality, creating work that balances close textual analysis with dynamic visual storytelling. Alongside directing, Rosie has experience in projection design, video editing, graphic design, sound design, writing, producing and dramaturgy.

She is a 2026 Watersprite Film Hub Cohort member at HOME Manchester and a 2026 Gurls Talk Ambassador, where she is developing a project that explores rehearsal-room culture through mental health advocacy training and creative facilitation.
